The Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for the Bank Verification Number, BVN, registration to October 31st. The deadline was earlier fixed today June 30th as the deadline for the registration. Hopefully more Nigerians would have completed their registration before the new deadline elapses

An Ikeja High Court in Lagos has adjourned the N150billion libel suit filed by Bola Tinubu against Africa Independent Television, AIT, to September 30th. Today, 30th June 2015, Professor Attahiru Jega officially bowed out of office as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC . He was appointed chairman of the electoral body in 2010 and has conducted two elections, the 2011 and 2015 elections. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has executed the chief architect of  the  new international Pyongyang airport...This happened he was pictured touring the building with his wife last week. Reportedly, the architect was executed because Kim didn’t like the design. The project is the country’s latest bid to appeal to potential tourists since Kim ascended to power in North Korea three years ago and features a jewellery store, coffee bar, a pharmacy, a chocolate fountain and other luxury amenities. Until his disappearance last year, Ma Won Chun, was North Korea’s director of the Designing Department of the National Defence Commission. Yesterday June 29th, The Federal government constituted a four-man committee to probe NNPC over N3.8 trillion unaccounted for by the corporation in the last three years. According to the Edo state governor, who is part of the 4-man probe committee, investigations by the federal government show that NNPC made N8.1 trillion from 2012-2015, paid N4.3 trillion to the federal government and withheld N3.8 trillion which the management of the corporation have not accounted for.

According to the APC, Deputy Senate president Ike Ekweremadu who is a member of PDP must be removed from office. Senator Ekweremadu who was also the deputy senate president in the last administration, was elected deputy senate president during the controversial senate leadership election on June 9th which produced Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President.
