DSS DG not our card-carrying member - APC

General Chris Olukolade has been replaced as the Director of Defence Information. According to a statement from the Nigerian Army, Colonel Rabe Abubakar will take over from him in Acting capacity. Gen Olukolade became DFI in March 2013.

He did because a man named Osho had approached him and asked him to get him fresh human parts and would pay him N50,000. N50,000 is what a human is worth to some. N50k. Unbelievably sad!

This morning, there was a horrific accident along Ikorodu road, Lagos between Onipanu and Palmgrove bus-stop. Two trucks carrying load collided. The driver and passenger of one of the trucks died on the spot. The other truck driver survived and escaped from the scene. Another accident also happened close to this scene, at Aladiyye bus-stop on Ikorodu Road. A container fell on a car but thankfully no casualties in that accident. See the photos after the cut...

States to repay bailout loans from allocations

It has been revealed that the bailout package being prepared by the Central Bank of Nigeria for the 36 states of the federation is to be deducted from their statutory allocations. Autopsy shows no evidence of foul play in the death of Bobbi Kristina

Medical examiners performing an autopsy on Bobbi Kristina Brown said Monday their initial findings turned up no obvious cause of death, while experts said the months that have passed since Brown was found face-down in a bathtub are working against authorities now tasked with solving how she died. According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner, Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy shows "no obvious underlying cause of death."  The Medical Examiner goes on to say, "no significant injuries were noted."
